Our process typically entails a discussion to understand the potential client’s need – be it for purposes of fulfilling a global CSI strategy, or local commitments to economic development and/or BEE – and required outcomes. Following this discussion, we will work to create a unique solution that will meet your ultimate business and social objectives; that will be delivered within your budget and timeframe.

While we prefer working on the more sustainable solutions – we are also able to facilitate short-term and/or workforce involvement interventions, should this be the requirement of the client.

  • Facilitation of entrepreneurship – unemployed skilled individuals within communities are trained in project management, project coordination and basic administration in order to implement and manage projects within their own community that will address the community need. SA Taxi Partnership

Teenage Anger Management in (area)

  • Educate Africa was contacted by a community in KZN which identified a high prevalence of teenage anger and stress amongst the children. These emotional outbursts typically resulted from their harsh living and social conditions – with many children living in dire poverty as orphans or with unemployed, ill and/or addicted parents/guardians.
  • Educate Africa contacted SA Taxi for sponsorship for social worker and teacher interventions to facilitate Teenage Anger Management education in schools.
  • This intervention was conducted with great success in September

Road Safety Awareness

  • SA Taxi identified that pedestrian injury is the leading cause of fatality in children under 15 years old in South Africa – and as such commissioned a Road Safety Education initiative through Educate
  • Educate Africa engaged partners in various regions and rolled out a Road Safety Awareness/Education campaign at identified schools. The campaign was aimed at both the teachers and students – to ensure that the teachers at the schools were equipped to deliver education to all students going
  • This initiative was rolled out to 10 000 children and approximately 1000 teachers in October 2014.
  • Further such initiatives were rolled out since 2015.

Other Projects and Partners

  • Peace Clubs a partnership with various NPCs and NGOs
  • Children behave according to what they see around them. In South Africa, the post-apartheid legacy in combination with the media’s generation of violent stimuli means that Children are exposed to one dominating method of resolving disputes – the destructive method.
  • With this in mind, Educate Africa and its partners created Peace Clubs as an extension of the Peer Mediation
  • The overall goal of the programme is to create fun-filled opportunities for the youth to blossom into peaceable beings with solid character and sound morals. Peace Clubs also aim to cultivate leadership skills in young people for the continuation of peaceful approaches to conflict
